Outreach

Natsyn Catalysts has a very strong relationship with plants. We have studied and learned a lot about them... and we have learned from them. The growth of a seed into a plant is an everyday process, but it encapsulates a wonderful message that Natsyn Catalysts has embraced. If you nurture something (or someone) at a tender age, you can help them blossom and understand their true potential. Mr. Rajendran has always emphasized the importance of a good education. Knowledge is power. And having been in the industry for many years, he has come across and had to recruit people based on their experience and knowledge. Natsyn Catalysts has worked in close-coordination with over 25 academic institutions to make students aware of the latest trends in the nutraceutical industry and to validate bio-efficacy mechanisms. By sponsoring over 40 projects in India and abroad, Natsyn Catalysts has helped provide an insight into current work being carried out in the industry and broaden the students' horizon. With knowledge however, Mr. Rajendran has found that true competence is always found with people who have a solid foundation and who have understood their basics well. This has led him to focus on a good education for children, nurturing their young minds by building a solid knowledge base and helping them develop into mature adults capable of making an informed decision. Natsyn Catalysts is also aware of the big picture. India is a country with over a billion people, a significant percentage of who are farmers. Under-paid and barely able to make ends meet, they are unable to afford to send their children to schools. The children instead are made to work and add to the family's daily income. It is a difficult scenario to work with - the harsh reality of today, and dreaming of a better tomorrow. Natsyn Catalysts has taken on this challenge.

Working with a small village in the vicinity, Natsyn Catalysts conducted an open meeting where we first spoke with the people of the village, helped them understand the importance of an education and offered our support. Natsyn Catalysts then supported the funding of a government school and helped offer free education to 85 young boys and girls in the village. We supplied books, stationery, uniforms and other resources that the school needed and made sure that going to school was not a burden on the family by any means. The response was overwhelming! We have continued our efforts with the school and our support has been unwavering. More and more villagers who had not had an opportunity to study now want their children to go to school. The children are being encouraged to study further and realize their true potential. Natsyn Catalysts looks at this as a beginning and we hope to expand our outreach in the future. For now, we have sowed the seed, nurtured it, and are enjoying the thrill of the first bright green leaf to appear! The plant will soon emerge and the dream of a better tomorrow will come true...
